The Nizhneleninskoye-Tongjiang bridge, 2.2 km long, has two standard gauges for Russian and Chinese trains. The bridge will reduce the distance of cargo delivery from Russia to northeast China and back by 700 km.
According to calculations, at the first stage, the cargo turnover of the transport crossing will be 5.2 million tons, but later it will grow to 20 million tons.
