Developing regional aviation in the Far East.

The Russian Government has drawn up and implemented a State programme aimed at developing air traffic in the Far East.

The government's financial support will make it possible to increase the aircraft fleet, expand the geography of flights and the number of flights to remote locations in the Far East. The total cost of the project is 23 billion rubles.

According to the Governor of Primorye, Vladimir Miklushevsky, relying on the development of small aircraft will solve several problems at once: it will ensure the convenience of travel for residents, develop tourism and increase business activity within Primorye.

What does this mean for logistics?

An increase in the number of flights in the Far East region will lead to an increase in demand for air cargo transport. After all, a significant part of the import flow of goods goes through the Far East. There are "issues" in further distribution of the flows, which, we hope, the government programme will help to resolve.
