New Russian Customs Code is in force
Effective from January 1, 2004, the new Customs Code of the Russian
Federation is in force. The Code is aiming at facilitating the businesses
of both domestic and foreign companies through simplifying the customs
clearance process and dramatic reduction in the amount of time and
paperwork. One of the key issues the new Code brings is to make
brokers more reliable. As a result since first of January the number
of customs brokers and customs warehouses in Russia was largely
reduced.
WTN-Group keeps leading position in the market by offering professional
customs brokerage service, on-carriage of goods in bond and storage
